Nature School Sessions
Thanks to funding from the Community Energy Fund, we were able to deliver four halfday outdoor nature sessions at Bro Hyddgen Primary School, Machynlleth for the Year 1 class (ages 5-6) during autumn 2025. The sessions were designed to enable the children to explore, learn, and connect with the natural world.
“Our Year 1 pupils thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to learn outdoors and explore the natural environment around them. The sessions provided a rich and engaging experience that sparked curiosity and encouraged hands-on learning. Being immersed in nature allowed the children to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them, while also developing teamwork, confidence, and a sense of responsibility for their surroundings.”
